I have seen in User Data folder (C:/Document and Settings/{USERNAME}/ApplicationData ) folder Macromedia, and here \Flash Player\#Security\FlashPlayerTrust .
It’s no a system folder, isn’t it?
FD is not allowed to write to system folder, too, and writes in this folder. It works fine for FD, under XP and Vista. I guess MiniBuilder can do all what FD does (but under other platforms too).

ok
i never used this feature because i use to serve my apps from a test server
but there is a problem, it looks that the only dir where u can place FlashPlayerTrust files in under a system path and we’re not allowed to write there on Vista/Win7

or is there another place?

Hi Victor,
i find your IDE avesome. Code completion can work, syntax highlighting on board, and cross-platform. And it is only alpha.

But actually i miss one feature, that is important for me and others who creates applications that receive a data from internet (for example, xml from remote site). For tests we have to make our flashs “trusted”, otherwise our flashs can’t receive a data from remote (security problem). I can make it manually, but i think it would great if you find a possibility to write .cfg files in FlashPlayerTrust folder (FlashDevelop makes it).

I looked at your graphics editor and it’s a good project. I already have started the work on an editor somewhat similar to yours, also based on quadratic bezier. But because I already implemented selection, multiple selection, affine transforms, grouping, images and other stuff, I’ll continue with mine. Stuff that remains to be done are: fills, layers, filters (your tool has them), gradients, guides, magnet guides and other.
Also, MiniBuilder editor has to be integrated with the rest of the project and build on AsWing component framework.
If you are interested to contribute, your experience is welcome. Keep in mind though, the project is open-source (GPL)

Hello there Victor. I’ve been looking your product posts. Haven’t seen the App running yet, I’m just leaving work up to Monday and Monday i’ll give it a look.

Seems to be a great Job.

I just want you to see a Small project I created a few months ago as my final carreer job on Informations & Computer Sciences university.

Is an IDE for creating Flash vector graphics just like Adobe Flash does but using AIR, Flex & ActionScript. It’s name is codeDraw. You can see it on http://codedraw.wordpress.com
