AIR MiniBuilder on Linux screenshots
Quick visual tour of MiniBuilder ActionScript IDE running on Ubuntu Linux
IDE Overview
See ActionScript code completion for Player 10
“MiniBuilder is briefly inspecting your folders”
It takes a quick look in your foldes (user dir, up to a depth of 4) looking for Flex projects.
Run it, you’ll be amazed how many forgotten treasures will be unveiled
Build applications for Tamarin VM with MiniBuilder. The code completion provides only natives of shell Tamarin.
Check the console: you need to make the output file executable.
Linux fans, forgive the “.exe” ending, the output is not a windows exe! It is a projector – the Linux AVM packaged together with the abc data (compiled actionscript)
These are just a few of the things…
Help this project, at least by showing your interest and it will grow!
Flash and AIR (especially 2.0) are providing quite some power to play with.
Check it yourself, 2.4M size, it’s tiny: MiniBuilder

The best part of The Flex framework is it has a cross-platform, open source framework for creating rich Internet applications that run identically in all major browsers and operating systems.

Hi
Great to see a Flex IDE on Linux. I like the idea of developing an AS3/Flex IDE using AS3.
I was trying AirMinibuilder and came across a bug as follows:
When opening a folder (eg. libs) using the “open” button, if there is a white-space in the path, then it causes an error.
eg.:
/home/user/project-folder (This is ok)
/home/user/project folder (This causes an error)
I guess you must be very busy as you are also building the web based minibuilder as well. Will be happy to help you for any help that you need on AirMinibuilder.
I’m just gonna get the AirMinibuilder sources and explore. This looks like a great project – Thanks !
BTW, is there any dev mailing list for MiniBuilder?
Regards,
- Kayo

@Kayo,
it’s strange, i remember fixing that issue
there’s huge work to do, your help will be great!
one little correction, no flex support (at least yet)
you can start with looking for a fix for the issue you describe.
here’s the mail list, if you say:
